Christina graduated from her MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford (Wolfson College), upon completion of her First-Class BA in German and Linguistics at the University of Warwick. Her Masters thesis explored cross-linguistic influence in third language acquisition – how previously acquired languages may affect an individual’s learning of a new language, and vice versa. During her undergraduate degree, she completed a year abroad at Heidelberg University in Germany, studying a range of German Literature, Linguistics, as well as taking Swedish and Spanish language classes. Christina has various experience with subject-specific tutoring and general mentoring for students both at school and University, and she looks forward to helping more students achieve their goals. In her spare time, she loves taking part in sports, including dance, bouldering, and running. Having run the Oxford Half Marathon in 2023, she hopes to run her first full Marathon soon.
